2 miles from downtown town, it is directly adjacent to the BeltLine, Benteen & Grant Park neighborhoods. McDonough/Guice/ Custer is an historic neighborhood in Atlanta. If you would like the convenience of renting near downtown, a great host, book this PRIVATE ROOM w/ PRIVATE ENTRY. The room is located in the lower unit of a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Space features one bedroom with queen memory foam bed, luxury shared bathroom, private parking & two outdoor seating areas on back lower patio.
The space
Just TWO MILES from DOWNTOWN Atlanta, 15 MINUTES - 9.5 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson AIRPORT with MARTA BUS stop outside the front door step in two directions. This shared property is large and the rooms are spacious. The property neighborhood is directly adjacent to the BeltLine, Benteen Park, Chosewood Park, Grant Park, Thomasville Heights, Summerhill and Peoplestown neighborhoods. East Atlanta Village and Edgewood is about 12-15 mins away.

This is a 1930 Bungalow - two (2) unit split by upstairs and downstairs units newly renovated home top to bottom in 2022. House features (6) spacious rooms, 10ft ceiling w/ ceiling fans in the upper stairs units. This property also gets monthly pest control from Orkin to minimize insects, etc.

Shared room #6 features hardwood floors, 32in Smart Roku TV in the bedroom with a closet, mirror, dresser & night stand. Room also has a deck and PRIVATE ENTRANCE from the back lower patio.

QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 11P-7A.

This area has a kitchenette boosting a sink, full size refrigerator and microwave. Also sitting area for two in the kitchen area. THERE IS NO STOVE IN THE KITCHENETTE.

The exterior of the property features a long driveway with a turnaround parking pad in the rear, large fenced yard with a huge custom built fire pit. There’s also a rear lower deck both with amble premium patio seating. Private entrance off the back lower patio. Tiki candles also provided.

There is a cleaning fee added as I provide clean wash cloths and towels to all guest. Free washing machine (please supply own detergent), iron and ironing board. The house is open beside a few locked/ restricted areas. I pride myself on cleanliness and customer service so I promise the cleanest and customer service is next to none on any STR platform.

No 3rd Party bookings on behalf of others, unless previously discussed with host. Host has right to cancel booking if the person who books the space isn’t the person staying. Host has right to cancel if any illegal activity occurs on property. If host is suspicious of any questionable guest activity guest will be escorted off property and no refund issued, this includes AirBnB fraud and scams. Enjoy your stay.

PLEASE BOOK FOR THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS STAYING AT PROPERTY. Be truthful in occupancy number or booking will be cancelled.

NOTE: All Foreign Travelers will need to have access to a US SIM, phone number with text message capability and the ability to download the Smartlock app from either the Apple or Android store. These are requirements to gain access to the Smartlock to gain access to the property. The use of the US APP store is required.

First, the hosts here are very responsive and accommodating, kudos for that! The space is very clean and the washer/dryer makes it very convenient. On maps, at first glance this is a great location, close to Grant Park and lots of trendy places in EAV and Chosewood Park, etc. However, the airbnb is next to an abandoned, boarded up house and large empty lot. It's also down the street from the state penitentiary and there is a lot of foot traffic, all this combined, it just does not feel like a safe spot for a solo traveler. The shared Airbnb can be really convenient, and keeps the price of this unit really affordable, but it also means it can really feel like a full house with 1 bathroom, kitchenette, etc for everyone and it can get VERY loud. There are also baby proof covers on the doorhandles that can make it hard to open the doors (even as an adult!) and just feel very strange. The smart lock had a learning curve but was ultimately easy and convenient.
